Life unexpected
Whenever I think about the events of this year, I felt that GOD has put things in perspective based on right timing and meeting right people.
January of this year, I attended 7 day Divine Principle workshop at ALPA training center in Victoria Valley, Valley Golf which is somewhere between Cainta and Antipolo. I was able to witness the 2nd week of the 120 days Special Education Workshop for Asian Leaders. I was invited somehow by the workshop Director, Rev. Umberto Angelucci to join the workshop. I just thought I could I never attend as I felt I am not qualified.
As I went back to work, I was really deeply thinking about resigning from work. Then probably God heard my cries. I have sleepless nights because of my toothache and one day in February, I really had it removed instead of undergoing root canal which cost a lot of money. Unfortunately, the pain didn't go away it got worst. This time, it involves my sinus and had bad smell. I also experienced a lot of migraine and phlegm. I went to the doctor and he said that it there are cases wherein the extraction caused the sinus to be affected as there is a vein that connects from the molars to the sinus. Two options for it to be healed, either by surgery to close the connection or take strong medicines. 2 weeks before I resigned, pain receded and no surgery done.
This time, I made a strong resolution. Go back to my hometown in Zamboanga, help my aunt and establish a profitable business which not only will help myself but also many people. I arrived in Zamboanga in March 30, 5 days after my last day at work. When I was there , I tended to rest and just enjoyed. Somehow though, I kept myself busy and made busy by different scenarios. Consequently, my aunts and uncle was brought to the hospital. I also attempted to do buy and sell however my business was slow. Anyhow, I was made involved to a mission from church. Our continental director, Dr. Chung Sik Yong, aims to have 140 Holy Grounds all over the Philippines. Part of his itinerary is Zamboanga and Basilan.
Because of my auntie's direction, I followed hear partially and even with a lot of doubts and hesitation. With short notice and the time period that the event will take place ( Holy Week), we were able to establish 3 Holy Grounds at Pasonanca Park, inside the Isabela (Basilan) National High School and inside the Municipal hall of Lamitan City. During the members meeting with the Continental Director, I was given an instruction to join the 120 days workshop. I didn't have the desire to join as I have many plans to do. But I don't have the reason not to go as I don't have work anymore.
After attending fiestas in the barangays, A.Mirna was brought to the hospital as she doesn't feel fine again. We are also ready to go to the hospital. I am appalled and the thought of attending the 120 days workshop is already erased in my mind. 2 days before the start of the 120 days workshop, the late National Leader, K.Jun Basuil called up our Regional Leader, Grace Mayo to follow up on me. I just realized I have to do this for the sake of A.Mirna and the ancestors and my preparation of the Blessing. I know big responsibilities will come, however, I have truly felt that my long prayers were answered. At this point, I have to really answer the call and face the trials however big it may be.
I came to attend the workshop with many doubts and hesitations however, I resolute to just complete have absolute faith, absolute love and absolute obedience. The first 40 days was tight. I have experienced first times such as doing fund raising and witnessing and also Tong Il Moo Do. I also have issues with the leaders as I have a lot of arrogance in blood. Anyhow, I really realized a lot of things. I also learned self denial and even sacrifices. I felt so ashamed of my mistakes and the time I have wasted
After I graduated, I am facing a lot bigger trials. But this time, I needed to really fix my mind and heart to follow and meekly follow. I know good fortune awaits.
More things to come....
