A soldier's burial

This is the first time I attended a soldier's burial at Libingan ng mga Bayani. I felt honored as I witnessed this event and hearing that 21 gun salute. Its no longer in the TV that I see this things.

The soldier was the brother of our elder member. There were very nice testimonies from friends and colleagues. I just can imagine how great this person is as there were many who send him off.

I can really feel the pain of the family and friends. However, I strongly feel that as we did the Seunghwa ceremony somehow uplifted their spirit. 

On another note, I just wondered why the big fuss about Former Pres. Marcos' relatives strife to be buried there. I sincerely hope that they will really study the basis. Life of soldier is never easy. However it is a very noble life.
